<font color='#000080'>I've not looked at this thread in days as I'd presumed &nbsp;it was just going to be a piss-take out of Ben and his pointless headgear. But what a bloody good, informative discussion it has turned into! Some gentle ribbing to accompany some informed ideas full of respect for differing methods of other, equally capable divers.

Very welcome, and long may it continue!

(By the way Ben, bloody stupid helmet, but not as bad as the one you're going to be wearing soon!)

Nope I don't think being unconcious would stop him.

There's only one way to find out...

...now where's that crowbar

But then &nbsp;it wouldn't be a real dive trip without Victor Meldrew chuntering away to himself.

<font color='#8D38C9'>why do u think I want a ffm with comms kit built in.

Either that or im going to learn sign language.

Anyway nuts to it. yates / tim.... im gonna start my rain dance for the sharm area. You do know you've been bumped onto the wildcat liveaboard and gav, they are taking baccardi bill (or whatever the scapa skipper / boat crash test piolt was called) along to skipper.

Youll notice my normal charming posts are missing, its what comes from being sober for over a week. Bloody medicals, honest to god I was asked on a medical form today if
1. Am I or have I ever been was a psycopath Yes / No.
2. Have people ever annoyed me by critisising my drinking (being a lightweight??) Yes / No

Whats the world comming to.

Just tagging on from Bens post on Head mounted lamps.

I read a story that one diver with a headmounted light system wasn't impressed as reputedly it attracted jellyfish to the bright light. &nbsp;A head full of lions Maine, not recommended anyone heard similar? &nbsp;

Just to maybe help some o you guys thinking about sidemounting. I've just built a rig for £25, at a rope shop down the road. The guy has basically got a load of 2&quot; webbing, and stitched it pretty permanently where I told him to, plus a few d-rings, and I'm laughing. Except it needs adjusting a bit.

This is the Digger-rig MK1, but I'll report back on how it gets on. We might get a dive in this weekend...

I would say to anyone that's never tried it to give it a go. I've tried as many different configurations as I could find, and I'm still looking, and so far this one's got me hooked. The fact that my gear is fairly easily converted to it, and that it's cheap as to make is tempting me even more to make this a regular thing. See how it gets on in open water.
