Imported post Hi gang Unfortunately work commitments have stopped my mate being able to make the DIR-Fundamentals course being held at Capernwray on the 26,27,28 November He's already paid a £100 deposit which means that if anyone want's his place they will only need to pay the balance of £175 instead of the actual course fee's of £275 A great deal (if you're interested in being trained GUE stylee that is...) and you'll have the added bonus of pairing up with me.. So... if anyone fancies a cheap course being trained by the man who actully created the fundamentals course itself .. Andrew Georgitsis then please contact me on.. 01642 872302 or 07714 034666 Best regards Dave. Edit: Just thought I'd add a link for those of you who don't know what a fundamentals course is all about... It's Chris Boardmans review for Divernet magazine of the inaugral fundy class in the UK... it's also very interesting to note that since then Chris Boardman himself and Craig Nelson (The magazine photographer on the shoot) and Steve (Craigs assistant on the shoot... sorry Steve forgot your surname) were all so blown away by it that they all now dive and practise 100% DIR equipement/techniques That a seriously good recommendation in my book DIR Fundamentals

Imported post Dave. You're not having a good week are you ?. First you find out that you have no work and can spend more time diving, and then your mate tells you that he has so much work that he hasn't got time to go diving. It's not fair, is it.

Imported post LOL.. you're right it's not Doug, but then again part of Daves problem is that he has to be there as his company are laying off 80 people next week (all leave cancelled, big shake up).... I'm afraid engineering design houses in Teesside are struggling badly at the moment.... big projects seem to be a thing of the past... I'm only glad that I had the money for this course put aside and my wife being the wonderful person that she is has told me to go cos she know's I've waited months for it... Aaaahhhh love is sweet....

Imported post Aw C'mon Dave....surely you can spare an extra day? Maybe I can talk to Mrs Willo and persuade her? Yes, I'm supposed to be trying out the sidemount rig and generally hanging around and talking bo**ocks all day (no change there). When are we going diving? Bob PS. Just got back from Mexico and I have some great stories to tell......
