<font color='#000080'>Right then. As far as I can see, we've got no DIR divers on the Stoney teamsheet for the 21st Feb.

Was it something we said?

It'd be good to have a few of you guys down, you've got plenty to offer, and you don't have to dive with us lot, we understand the DIR philosophy on that one.

Get to planned trips, and put your names down! Or get to SI and explain yourselves!

You are incorrect my friend, you don't understand the DIR philosophy on that one... unless you're a complete twat and dangerous to dive with then every single one of us would have no problem diving with you.... I'm sick of people saying that DIR will 'only' dive with DIR, it's complete bullshit... most of us are members of BSAC or SAA clubs with whom we go diving.....  let's put this to bed once and for all shall we..... jeez!!

BTW I sent you a pm last week... did you get it??

Dave.

<font color='#000080'>Sorry Dave, I know you guys would dive with us, but it would be preferable for you guys to dive as buddy pairs, would it not? My point was that I'd certainly not be offended if you guys formed a group within the group, if you see what I mean.

Reading it it does look like a bit of a pop at you lot. It's not, I was under the impression that was the way you guys liked to work it.

I was wondering if that would tempt you guys, or that was the reason we'd had no DIR names on the list?

I got your PM, I've been dead busy this last week with exmas and all sorts. I'll PM now.

I'm down in Portland that weekend.

Otherwise, I would come along.

No probs Digger,

I'd love to do Stoney mate, it's one of those place's I keep reading about but have never been too, but it's something like a seven or eight hour round trip for me and so it's probably a place I'll do if I'm ever 'darn sarf' or stopping over at someones gaff near the area.

There was once talk of a YD northern contingent takin in a few southern inlands sites (vobster etc) plus a shitload of drinkery's but it never took off, I'd still be interested in a few day's away with some mates meeting you softy southern lot and if it did happen I'd definitely be there.

I'm hoping to be travelling south this season diving with young mr Cooper and that might be a good time to call into Stoney and see what it's all about.

I got your PM re the suit so look out for the reply.

Later mate

<font color='#000080'>That's better. Now we're gettind going.

WL? Any chance of a day at Stoney? I'll throw in a free burger for anyone DIR diving on the day. That should get you guys going. Oh, and give us fair chance to snap you eating burgers and send a photo to GUE of your poor eating habits. Digger's food is a liability, and could cause all sorts of damage to the insides, predisposing you to DCI. Eat after diving, that's all I could say.

Hi,

I would have loved to go along (would have been my first YD bash), but I am also in Portland that weekend.

As per Dave's post I am studying towards DIR diving (done Fundamentals) and also dive with my BSAC club. I just don't dive with people that are in my view dangerous.

Bob, are you doing the 4 dives in the harbour over the weekend thing? It'd be great to meet you...

Cheers,

Fraser.

<font color='#000080'>Hi

Its a little too early for me to know what I am doing that weekend, and so I was just going to turn up if I had nothing else on. The first quarter is my busiest what with everyone wanting new accounts and payroll software and needing to spend their IT budgets (not that I'm complaining )

Kindest Regards

Andy

No, I'm not diving. We (UE-UK) have arranged a cave diving talk at Aquasport on the Sunday. &nbsp; We'll probably have the AGM at the same time too.

Come and say hello!

Bob
