This is not a pop at DIR, I have heard everyone of these opinions expressed at one time or another.
I am curious just how many DIR divers there are and how many like myself.
I come under agreeing with some but disagreeing with other parts...

is the difference between people who think DIR is fine but aren't too worried and people who think DIR is mostly fine but has genuine flaws..?

It is difficult putting fine points in one line. bascially you are right.
DIR has some good concepts but the whole system isn't for me
is for those who have no major objections to the system but don't neccessarily use it yet while
I agree with some but disagree with other parts of the system
is for those who have real objections to parts of it like myself but who have cherrypicked ideas that they liked.

I went for option 5; although option 10 ('Speedoman') was rather tempting

5 or 6. I went for 6 which looks about right.

I cannot decide, altought last one was tempting. I think DIR has many good things but in my opinion not everything, one of them is wet suit diving and others. But then team spirt, long hose and others are good.

Regards
