| Imported post <font color='#000080'>As far as i can gather DIR is a set way of diving, looking at the sport in a more holistic way. You should be eating right and training etc. There are things that we all have and do that are frowned upon by DIR divers as they are "wrong" - things like hose protectors for example. They can trap gunge underneath and stop you looking at the condition of your hoses, but if the manufacturers thought they were such a bad idea why put them on in the first place?
