| For all you bling bling DIR divers out there. Does look nice and shiny http://www.stealthdive.com/spool/spool.html DISCLAIMER This is my first post I believe in the DIR section and as such this is just a post to show a nice shiny spool. I am not trying to start an argument over the use of spools or trying to say that the original spool is not as good as this one. All the best Jamie |

| Kent tooling do a nice one simon, Have a look at mine tomoz. Although I was under the impression that DIR used Delrin as it was neutral rather than stainless with is quite negative. idea being you can release the delrin and it just spins off line in front of you whereas a stainless one would drop to the seabed. Sit down, breathe deeply..... and forget it. The buggers sink too quickly, they dont do the nice "twirly mid water thing" that delrin does. /Z

| I agree with Juz & Zak that stainless may look shiney and nice, but Delrin is neutral and does the hands free deployment thing, mid water ![]()

| Hi The edges will be sharp when the spool is spinning between your thumb and forefinger. The Agir ones suffer the same feature. The Halcyon ones are the best. Andy |
