Thanks for all your reactions!

Jon, no problem I hope you like the other list now as well?

Stuart, thanks for the suggestion. I searched for Aquatetra, there are many links to several sites and the descriptions look good. Unfortunately, the links are all dead. I fear Aquatetra does not exist any more. Does any body has more information about this school in Wales?

Divingtaz, I have included Starfish Divers in the list. I did not include it before as I did not see any link to disabled diving.

Best regards,

Robert-Jan

Hi Yaz,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have included Darwen SAC in the list with all the links in it as well.

Diving Schools for Disabled Divers: do you know more?

The manual you were talking about is that that derived from the Disability Awareness specialty?

Best regards,
Robert-Jan

Re S&D Training Plymouth

Hi Rob,

Many thanks for including our link for disabled diver training. The position at present is that we cannot provide the courses as our qualified instructor has moved away from the area. I became disabled myself last year as a result of a spinal bend and although back diving again I am not in teaching status as I am not in posession of a HSE medical. Hopefully this will be rectified early in the new year and I will then enroll on a IAHD instructor course myself. My website is out of date also because the guy that updates it has done a disappearing act ! I will let you all know once we are able to run these courses again.

Regards

Dave

I'm pretty sure CDW used to mention it. I guess I was wrong or they have stopped.

Hi,

Try DV Diving , Newtownards, Co.Down, Northern Ireland - I am approx 95% sure they teach disabled people.
