Hi Jon,

I am aware that your centre is an IAHD training centre. What I will do is start a second thread but this time with centres outside of the UK. The list below is only UK dive schools which can provide training for people with a disability.

Best regards,

Robert-Jan

Scuba Trust

The Scuba Trust are now using the pool at The Lord Mayor Treloars College in Alton, Hampshire.
Dates can be found on their wbsite which is, I think, www.scubatrust.org but if that is not right just put Scuba Trust into your search engine.

Dear Pippa,

I have changed the location of Scuba Trust into Alton in Hampshire. Thanks for letting me know.

Dear Pavlo,

Thanks for the tip, I have included it in the list
Diving Schools for Disabled Divers: do you know more?

Conor, I had a look at the website of Cambridge D & W but I did not find any information about disabled diving. If would be pleased to include them in case something is mentioned about it. Can you check with them if they provide IAHD courses?

Best regards,
Robert-Jan

I don't know if they are still there but there used to be a place in North Wales, not far from Dorothea, called Aquatetra. As I remember it was on the road from Dorrie to Betws-y-Coed, though I could be wrong. I don't remember seeing it the last time was in the area though so it might have shut.

Cheers,

Stuart
