    Hi Pippa,

Thanks for that. I was not aware that SDI offered this programme. I looked around and found a short description about it. Do you have more information about the Scubility programme? I am curious what the manual is covering.
At the SDI site I found also handicapped junior open water diver mentioned. Unfortunately, I did not found any description about it. Does Dive Tribe provide this course as well?

Any way, I have included Dive Tribe in the list below. After searching for a few minutes I found that Scubility was offered.

    Dive Tribe and scubility

    Hi R-J
I'm sorry I don't know anymore about this course. The man you need is Rob Read at Dive Tribe. He is away at the moment but will be back in the New Year. If you need his email address, contact me privately and I will give it to you. Pippa.
    Merry Christmas

    Spanish Scuba School

It would be worth contacting Sergi who runs Rivemar dive centre at La Azohia (near Cartagena in SE Spain).
It is an excellent dive facility and runs courses for people with disabilities.
I dived there in May with an instructor colleague from UK and we were both impressed with the quality & scope of training and interesting dive sites.
The centre has 2 adapted hard boats with lifts etc.
The english language version of its web site does not cover diving with disabilities but the local info at the centre shows examples of courses for people with disabilities.
The centre is a reasonable road journey from Alicante (or Malaga) and the staff are multilingual.

"The sea does not belong to despots. Upon its surface men can still exercise unjust laws, fight, tear one another to pieces, and be carried away with terrestrial horrors. But at thirty feet below its level, their reign ceases, their influence is quenched and their power disappears.Ah! sir,live-live in the bosom of the waters!.There only is independence! There I recognise no masters! There I am free!" Capt. Nemo 20,000 leagues under the sea
