Question Seaquest advice

Juz & I are down with his parents in Devon this weekend & were thinking of diving with Teign Diving Centre......

They have a couple of dives that would be ideal, but before we commit I need some advice......

We dived with them a few years ago, great crowd, well organised, fun but the entry & exit off Seaquest was interesting to say the least........

Just want to know if you still have to climb up on the crate and chuck yourself off the side (Juz doesn't like this idea with his YBOD) and climbing that ladder was difficult enough with a 15 & pony, my dodgy knee might not manage it with twin 12's & a 7L stage........

What is the boat like since the refurb? Should I just spend the weekend making Juz take me shopping in House of Marbles & Cardew Pottery?

BTW has Trago Mills been rebuilt?

Blanaid,

A certain John (not the Baptist AFAIK) says: "Seaquest - you still have to chuck yourself over the side but I have done it on the YBOD and as long as you "lifecheck" the handsets it's no big deal.

After the refurb, there is no smoke from the engine anymore (hurrah!) and it is much, much faster!"

If you have further questions PM me and let me know and I will forward his email address to you.

Rgds
Bryan

[EDIT]Is this the boat from which RobYBOD Evans managed to have the heel of one leg still on the boat whilst the other leg was in the water and came back saying doing the splits causes him no pain whatsoever!
