Exclamation Eclipse: Easter Diving - READ THIS!
Just had a mail from Dave/Skipper.

The kin engine has blown up, 45 mins after a full strip down by Honda.

So Easter is cancelled as far as Dave is concerned.

I would swear but I'm sure what I have to say would get me a lifetime ban from YD.

Quick - off to the chandlers for some oars and the music shop for a ferkin big drum - you shall overcome!

Sympathies - must be a real kick in the wallet, a let down for customers and nothing you can do about it - what with this sort of thing and last year's cr@p weather who'd be a charter skipper?

Bad luck but it could have happened during Easter with drifting divers still down.

Guess you have contingencies for that type of issue but all the same better to happen now. Better not to happen at all though.

Hope you get it sorted soon. Wasn't booked over Easter but aim to be booked with you again soon.

There's always the shore diving at Selsey.....

In all seriousness, kick honda's f*$%ing arse, Dave. If they've stuffed your engine it's their responsibility to fix it and/or supply a replacement, and because your livelyhood depends on it I'd give them merry hell mate.

Peugeot are hacked off with me at the moment as I have been ringing them every day wondering where my car is (mainly because Peugeot UK seem to have a complete lack of customer service).
