Jamie
used him last year (once) out of Eastbourne Marina, found him (Mike) OK, bit surprised he isnt more fully booked. Good guy, was a diver bought a boat so he could dive more ended up chartering instead as I understand it.
Jez and I are with him on the 14th (next weekend weather God willing) when are you thinking of going, we wil be doing Oceana but Alunia also looks good on the echo sounder. Hard boat had plenty of space in the hold for a second cylinder to back up my twin 10's for a second dive. Tends to keep his dives in the sub 35m range. Marina has trolleys and is close to supermarket carpark. Nice setup. No gas/compressor or lift on current boat AFAIK.

Jamie, I echo what Matt says above (we dived together from Mike's boat last year). My club are planning to use him a couple of times this summer too.

Dave.

I used Mike last year and on that occasion he was obliging and reliable, the boat 'sussex' has since been upgraded to a new cat, with all the bells and whistles.

We use this boat as its near to the ferry ports if we are heading home on a sunday. I haven't used the new boat this season, but Mike is a good skipper and the parking etc at Eastbourne is ideal.
