South coast hard boat to do 2 wrecks a day

Looking for a hardboat on the South coast, Portsmouth to Brighton area, which will do a 2 wreck day, rather than the usual wreck then drift combination. Looking in the 35m max depth range.

Does anyone do this, or does everyone do a drift second?

Have been spoilt by Eclipse shuttle service from Selsey (ok it's a rib but it has benches and head so counts as a hardboat in my book )

    Any advice much appeciated.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

The tides are usualy against you doing this without a masive break in the middle. But talk to Nauticat or Sparticat and i am sure they will do what you want if you can fill the boat.

Mark, tides have been mentioned as the reason this is difficult, but Dave (Eclipse) seemed to manage 3 or 4 wrecks a day, with only 2 hour gaps. Maybe the number + locations of wrecks in Selsey area make it possible where other areas aren't so lucky.

Will talk to Nauti and Sparta, as suggested, thanks.

I've done this out of Eastbourse with Steve Johnson (Nauticat).

Dive 125 (Dave Ronan) I think does this.

As you know, Andy (Taurus) does this as standard.

    Dave.

Its doable but round Brighton way its about 4+ hours between dives on good tides. I did it on Defiant a few months back when the tides were right.

    Talking Eastbourne

I know that it can be done out of Eastbourne .We did it last year on Inspiration (rib) Damned hard work on a rib ! We did the first dive then motored East for about 1/2 hour for the second wreck expecting to then sit for 1 hour waiting for slack .When we arrived it was just about slack so by the time we shot it ,got kitted up we'd had a nice surface interval .As Juz mentioned Steve -Nauticat (www.channeldiving.com ) & Dave - Dive125 (www.dive125.co.uk) go from Soverign Harbour ,Eastbourne .Nice easy free parking & not to far to carry kit ! I have dived from both & recommend either (but you won't see me I hate hard boats !)
    Good luck

If Portsmouth way is any good to you, check out Pete Street's boat Trojan - he sometimes does two wrecks in a day (though the second one is usually the Luis)

Yeah but thats because of the strange tides around the Isle of White. Mind you the louis is not a bad little bimble but ive done it twice and thats enough thankyou. Looking up at that house on the hill and realising I will never be able to aford to live there pisses me off.

Hard Boat for 2 wrecks a day. Michelle Mary Littlehampton

    Hi Dave and All,

As Mark said it can be done with approx a 4 hour wait in between dives.

Tide times and range have to taken into account also the access times back into the harbour.

If you have any particular wrecks in mind off Littlehampton, give me a call.

    Ivan 07850503812.
