I am looking to dive the Farnes inn April. Called Sovereign and they are booked up unless they get a drop out.
Anyone recommend another good outfit?
Cheers

We used Farne Diving Services last time we were up there
www.farnedivingservices.co.uk
Ian first time up there John Gulliver put us through Farne Diving (Stan's boy) and second time Dave Crampton organised it through Sovereign, not wishing to take anything away from either of the YD organisers (bless them) but Farne were a nicer crew to do it through. Also the local pub Crabster Arms(?) was brilliant. I found the pubs etc at the other place (Seahouses) a little less welcoming. Only slight issue was the air at Farnes wasnt that high pressure or Nitrox clean. Sovereign shop was at times 'difficult' shall we say.
On balance I'd do it via Farne Diving every time and buy a personal filter if needs be.

Try the Beadnell Towers - turn left at the end of the road instead of right for the Craster Arms. Real Ale and some really good food. A bit more expensive than the Caster but it is restaurant food rather than pub food.Originally Posted by MATTBIN
Can recommend Farne Diving services - we've dived with them every year for over 20 years.
I think its The Craster ArmsOriginally Posted by MATTBIN
ditto on the air, 200 bar, we filtered it ourselves, free though so you can't complain too muchOriginally Posted by MATTBIN
Reasonable accomodation on site as well
Lee's the son, Stan's doing his "Uncle Albert" impression
I'll give Farne diving a ring then. Thanks people.
