| Peter mate, I genuinely hope you were taking the mince with your comment??! Divers UK-wide using the 'two-dives-a-day' 'norm' off a hard-boat (whether that's stay out on the briney for both dives or come back to harbour at half-time and then set off for the 2nd dive) expect to pay between £30 and £40 a day, more if it's aliveaboard with everything laid on. Why would you think it not be the case? Did you misread his website? Like I said, I do hope you're having the mince out of Andy, but be aware/as you'll know, he is doing dive-charter for a living and attracting divers right-n-left to take a quality dive-boat out and catering for a 'Diver's Choice' approach to diving, and not just sagging 'em off into the water where it suit him. He is, when all is said an done, a diver himself. 'Careless Lips Sink Ships' mate, or this case, if you're not careful, Andy's livelihood! Dive safe all.

| Imported post <font color='#000F22'>I think inadvertently, Andy has got some well deserved free publicity out of Peter's post. I look forward to getting to Dover at some point this year and having a dip on the Taurus myself.

| Imported post I cant believe what has been said Andy's boat is the cheapest diving I have done all year and last year as well for that matter. £15.00 for a single wreck dive is £10.00 cheaper than ANY other hard boat I have been on. Dover has been screaming out for a boat capable of pushing out a bit and Andy’s really opened up Dover for a lot of divers. Its a good boat with a great skipper and I for one am over the moon that it's there. I pay £35.00 to dive Nauticat and Defiant and that’s one wreck and a pointless drift dive. Andy is charging per diver unlike some boats like Girl Grey that charge for the boat and ask however many divers that turn up to split the cost. You are either totally unfamiliar with the cost of hard boat diving in the south or taking the piss. Dave (Skipper) and Andy offer great affordable diving and we are very pleased to have them around. The only way to dive cheaper than that in these parts is on a club rib. Its sad that Andy felt the need to justifie his charges, it demonstrates just how upset he was by these comments. He should have sat back and let his client base rip into you, safe in the knowledge that we are all very greatfull to have him around. Andy's working very hard to get the business off the ground, every dive shop I have been in recently I mention the availability of the new boat in Dover and they all have herd the news and most had a business card, so someone has been doing some hard foot work. If it was a joke it wasn’t funny and if it was not a joke you were way out of line. Mark Chase

| Imported post Well for my fifteen squid tomorrow l expect the following 1.Gear taken to and from the boat. 2. 25% of the deck space. 3. 25% of the cabin space 4. Bed for the 30min journey back to Dover. 5. Car park paid for. 6. Low calorie, fat free donuts. 7. After dive beer in the pub. 8. Dead flat sea. 9. At least 10 mtr vis. 10. A crate of the clay pipes from the holds of the wreck. Oh and a polite skipper. If l don't get this l'll have to agree with old Jock Strap. Now l know the first ten points are achievable, not sure about the last. Please send your crew to the car park for about 8.15 am for their portering duties.

| Imported post <font color='#0000FF'>Howard,,,,,,AKA Southern Shandy Troop Commander . You hadn't even stepped on the boat when a polite lady asked you " Tea or Coffee,,, white or black and how many sugars ? " And Low fat, donuts ,,,,,,,,, it's divers like you that need them. Thats why i have been making enquires about a lift Now , my young crew, as they have been around commercial divers and boats while they were in nappies, i'm glad that they can be of service , and when i saw him carrying that big dive bag of yours, i was shocked ................ can't wait to see the size of your young HOD CARRIERS . Andy

| Imported post I took the original post as a joke that went a bit wrong. However I guess it's not funny when it's your business on the line. But moving on, I echo Diving Dude's comments about the young crew members. In general, I'm not a big fan of kids, but I've never seen better behaved children. And I'd rather have them helping me tie up a boat then the vast majority of divers I've seen. Incredible. Laters, Janos (With fingers crossed for the weather!)
