Did an overnight ferry from Swansea to Cork then drove up from there. It's a lot of driving but well worth it. Also....if you're on the overnight ferry you might consider a cabin...otherwise the warmest place on the ferry is near the exhuast stacks.....clothes reek of fumes though Last edited by Scuttler : 05-06-06 at 01:32 PM. |

| Diving around Galway/Sligo/Mayo/Donegal is excellent. There are a load of operators up there. But if you can take your own rib there's a good site at scuba diving ireland which gives info on the best sites. Personally Malinbeg/Achill Island/Mullaghmore/Killary and Inis Bofin have been some of my best west of Ireland diving sites. It might be worth looking into doing 2 sites - moving mid week? |
