The boat isn't set up for twinset divers though. It's OK for singles and the hire used to include tanks and air fills for everyone, so we just used to use theirs. Nitrox was a bit extra, but not a lot. Jason

The club I learnt to dive with always spent a week in Falmouth over Easter using a combination of their own RHIBs and Steve's RHIB and used the dive shop for air fills etc. I went there for about five trips over the years and they've always been friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the local dive sites. I've been on "Under Pressure" a couple of times when Cornish Diving's RHIB was out of the water for one reason or another and we were given the hard boat for no extra cost. I also went to Falmouth with another club for a weekend's diving last summer staying at the bunkhouse and diving off Under Pressure. The bunkhouse is cheap and fairly basic but the location is convenient. The boat hasn't much kitting-up space or benches and has a ladder (rather than a lift), but the skipper knows the dive sites well, does a good lunch and the cabin is fairly spacious. Rich and I had twinsets, but each of the other divers on the boat had a single and pony. I think that with any more twinset divers, kitting up would have been rather crowded, since the amount of deck space is limited. And I wouldn't fancy taking a rebreather and stages on the boat without benches. So it really depends on what your priorities for a dive boat are... |

As for the boat it has a huge wheelhouse, however that does mean that the kitting up area is quite small. Steve |
