Dry Suit Diver was on another trip not our one with the bad weather experience.

Well i was literally Furious on our trip with the greed insisting it was still going to be diveable when everywhere else had canceled, and it was not just un-diveable it was a bloody dangerous shout. The swell on the JEL nearly resulted in several very nasty accidents and was the worse diving conditions i have ever dived in, even though i was only in the water about 5 min max.

Myself and the 2 SD with me very nearly became statistics for the Incident Reports.

You pay for the skippers local knowledge and it was very sadly over-ruled by £ signes on this one.

I'll look up the report later.

He and the boat are great oh and the dog (don't throw the ball for the dog)
Nearest pub is a walk to the Wetherspoons at the top of the hill.
Good cheap food and booze

I've been out with him a couple of times before I sort of moved down and we started using Aquanauts as that's who Kirstie trained with and often we only dive 1 day over the w/e (until I move down in Jan - woohoo!).
Our club still has 2 weekends/year booked with him.

He was good enough to take hit on a dodgy w/e this year and save the guys driving down for iffy weather, rather than to just have them down and drop them inside the breakwater.

The nearest pub to him is the Brittania Arms, but we only use that to meet on the first night as everyone drives down and arrives at different times.

If you fill the boat i.e. have 12 of you and are all going into town, then at 4 to a taxi, it's only a couple of quid each way, then you have a selection of pubs, clubs and resturants that in 2 years I have only just scratched the surface of.
