Any "short notice charters" that take a few people?

Looking at potentially another blown out weekend in west wales got me thinking.

Are there any south coast charters that accept bookings from 2 or 3 people and at short notice or are most of them fully booked weeks/months in advance?

Potential scenario is we decide on a Thursday that west Wales and the RIB isn't dive-able but south coast is for that coming weekend.

Do any operations offer this sort of thing or would it involve lots of frantic phone calls on a Friday to try to find somewhere (or worse, another weekend in quarry)

Most of the south coast boats have spaces now due to shit vis and shit weather. In the summer they do book up really early. Plymouth is worth a shot at the minute and there are plenty of folk like Aquanauts that have their diary on-line.

E mail

String,

when I lived in South Wales we created a group e mail to some of the skippers advertising in the magazines in different places etc and used to send out a group e mail on Thursday's if things were going bad somewhere else, the response was reasonable and it meant only a couple of frantic phone calls

Hi there, have a look at divesearch.co.uk - UK Dive Charter Boat Search - Main Page, I have spent alot of time listing all the charter boats I have been able to find out about around the country, and within the information is the answer to all your questions. By which I mean, the database will tell you who accepts individuals, small groups or whether it is whole boat bookings only. Click on the map, it will narrow down your choice before you even have to phone/email any of the skippers.
I have arranged plenty of dive trips myself and put this together to make life easier for everyone. Just click on the map!

M&P have several spaces at 11:00 and 13:00 for shallow wreck and drift dives tomorrow.
Diving is doable at the moment, but will confirm later on today
