Farnes - RIB Hire?

Hi Guys,

I'm organising a trip to the Farnes for May 17th to do an underwater survey with an archaeologist from Newcastle Uni on an area where an old stone with man made markings was found, however I've run into a small problem, I don't have enough boat spaces.

Currently one RIB is definitely going and possibly another from one of the local BSAC clubs which would give me about 4 spaces but I have 8 - 10 people I need to find spaces for - if I could lay my hands on another RIB this would be ideal however all I can seem to find are hard boats which cater for 12 people and that seems like overkill, plus if the other 6 spaces were filled by people not doing the survey they'd likely be bored as hell by the area as it's only 4-6m deep in most places.

Anyone have any ideas or know where I could hire a RIB from in Northumberland?

Cheers,

Mike

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!
