A mate of mine who is a fellow diver, lost his cousin last month. his cousin was a seaman working on the local ferries and although his ashes are now placed alongside his dad's, talks with the family , was to do something at sea as a final send off. Over the past 2 weeks we had some talks and came up with a good plan .

So, tonight the plan is in action.

A marble plaque has been craved with the chaps details on and a family motto.

The plaque is going to be placed on a shipwreck just to the North of Dover and will be WIRED to the superstructure.

The lad would have been 40 , on the 2/4/2004 ,,,,,,, so we have chosen the wreck of the HMS ARIES, and the plaque will be laid on what would have been his 40th birthday. ( star sign )
