| Imported post Hi Guys I'm wondering if anyone knows the address/telephone Nos. of any good skippers at Bridlington and Filey. The USA History Channel series called Deep Sea Detectives will possibly be visiting the area in late June to investigate the UB 107 and Malvina Cheers Ron

| Imported post Hi Ron, I don't know of any charter boats in the area. If you are diving the Malvina/UB107 you will need the best torch you can get hold of. It is always black there & there is lots of fishing line present. My advice would be to choose another wreck there are plenty around there. If you need gas when you dive the area let me know & Hull branch can supply anything you want. 07977 202672. Bear. |

| Imported post Hi Bear Cheers mate, yes, I know the vis is very bad, but the TV/film company want to investigate why UB 107 was sunk, however I won't be diving with them. The company is from New York. Hi Garry Yes I remember you well, sadly all my diving days are now over, but I still keep driving on with the wreck research and I'm in regular touch with all my 'old' buddies. I'd certainly appreciate any info you collect on the offshore wrecks, very interesting. Hope you have a great time. Just wish I was going with you? Cheers Ron

| Hi Ron, Is this the same company who are producing Sea Hunters on National geographic? They have lots of adverts for a new series starting on the 12th July on Nat. Geo. There is an old? series showing currently advertised in the press/tv mags as Sea Hunters but also called Deep Sea Detectives on screen, if my memory serves me. Its a bit like Wreak Detectives but worldwide with a Canadian? Comi diver. Dave C

| slim pickings I was looking for a charter boat around there recently and found knack all. Colin Mariott suggested somebody running a RIB out of Brid (during 'the crash', on ukdivers, can't find it now) but I guess you'll need something more substantial if you're filming. I'm surprised there aren't any hardboats given all the wrecks in Brid bay. I suppose it's all inshore and RIB friendly.

| Hi Guys Thanks for the replies. Pam Armstrong and I did an interview on Saturday & Sunday at Scarborough for the History Channel team (New York based 'Deep Sea Detectives', as Dave C pointed out), who are putting a documentary out about the intermingled wrecks of Malvina & UB 107 and theories as to how and why they became mixed up together. (Michael Lowrey also had an interview last week in the States). The program will be for the USA market initially, although it is hoped that it will come to the UK soon, too. Due to inclement weather (not unusual) the diving part has been put back until August. www.deepseadetectives.com
