Thumbs up New Eyemouth Diving Charter

Last Easter Bank Holiday weekend, myself and a goodly band of 15 assorted YD marauders didst wander, with gay abandon, up the road to Eyemouth (just north of Berwick-upon-Tweed, and sharing the same bay as St Abbs).

We dived off Skipper Ian Easingwood's boat, the North Star - see here:

http://www.marine-quest.co.uk/

Ian knows his oinions (after being a fisherman - man and boy - for a number of years out of Eyemouth itself) and took us to some top dive sites (sea-caves, wrecks, gullies and walls) where we enjoyed lobbies (bigguns), octopi and a number of fish we'd never seen before!

Ian comes highly recommended, both as a skipper and for being a thoroughly decent bloke. He's also, in his girlfriend, Claire, got THE best looking First Mate I've ever seen on a dive boat - ANYWHERE!!

We'll deffo be using him again!
