    Dive boat venture

Just done weekend in Plymouth on dive boat Venture. Skippered by Pete Fergus. Recomend him to anyone, diver orientated having been a commercial diver himself and cracking grub, plenty of brews and not to mention the hot doughnuts

Used Pete for years and have to agree - have you read his book - silver bubbles? Great story about salvage diving and what the boys got up to,

Don't need to, i think he recounted half the book on the boat a couple of months ago!
Another vote for Pete and his hot doughnuts. He was good enough to lend me his drysuit for the second dive when my neck seal ripped - nothing seems to be too much trouble for him.

Pete's a quality bloke, he's always my first recommendation for Plymouth, I'm hoping to get a weekday dive with him when I'm back in July

not read the book yet, got a coppy off him though. Would like to get 4 or 5 weekdays in with him soon if anyone wants to make up numbers. Hands deep is a must, was 12-15m viz and lush with flora and fauna. True to form pete wouldn,t drop us till slack was right on the button. Very impressive. Drift on Hilsey point also excellent , and J E L was pretty good.

    Chris... don't forget the nudibranch!

It was my first time diving off Venture with Pete - and can add my recommendation, had a great weekend.
