| I used to dive ocassionally with someone who had catarrh - it did work but his mask was a bit yucky on surfacing. Sudafed should help. You could try Sudafed also. There are suggestions of problems in using if for deeper/higher PPo2 situations but I have seen nothing definite. |

| At the risk of this degenerating like the last time we conversed, I'll chip in. A coulple of years agot I'd've poo-pood this, but has he tried homeopathic remedies? I use Nelson's Travella for seasickness and placebo or not, I've not been sick when I've taken it. Over the counter medcines are rarely tested at pressure, so can have unexpectected effects when take before diving. hth Paul |

| As far as I remember the DDRC say Sudafed is OK to a max of 30m.

| I'm not sure if he's tried homeopathic cures, but I'll mention it. I really don't think he suffers badly enough for it to hugely affect any diving he might do (apart from having a messy mask, as has been mentioned!), but I suppose he should check with a diving doc first. I'll give the Sudafed a try, I think - the dive is only to about 18m so I should be ok. What's the worst that can happen?!
