Yeah! Another one. I used to until somebody drove over my chest. Ruins your day that does.

I have seen reference to divers aged over 40 or 45 ish, and wondered what the issues are with age please.

I think they're a bit young. They should come back to diving in another few years when they've grown up a bit.

It's not supposed to be. Relaxing bimbles maximise your bottom time, if you get excited then your air consumption increases and so your dives are shorter.

You sound fitter than most of the divers I've seen
I started diving last year at 46 and reckon its the best thing I've ever done, it feels like coming home, this forum is the best place to broaden your knowledge too, I hope you get as much from it as I have.
