It's not supposed to be. Relaxing bimbles maximise your bottom time, if you get excited then your air consumption increases and so your dives are shorter.

I to am OLD ah well, only another few years and I will have been diving fifty years, then all the YD lot can wheel me out and get me drunk!.


Now that would be good, anybody on YD already dived for fifty years? we could have a right party!.

You sound fitter than most of the divers I've seen
I started diving last year at 46 and reckon its the best thing I've ever done, it feels like coming home, this forum is the best place to broaden your knowledge too, I hope you get as much from it as I have.
