| Chris, Very sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with MND, it was one of the several things my grandmother had for quite a few years and she lasted until the ripe old age of 86. I am sure it puts a lot of things into perspective. You seem to have a positive attitude about the whole thing which I am sure puts you in a good position for the future. Congratulations though!! Paul

| Chris, old boy! What terrible news. I can't think of a stronger person to deal with it than you, especially with the luverly Liz to back you up. You have my best wishes and full support (whatever practical use that is?). C |

| best wishes One of my college lecturers had this, and kept defying the docs who said he should be in a wheelchair - he carried on with a full time career as a vet, and a physical job, and had done so for many years before i even got into uni. He was a real inspiration and an amazingly strong character. One thing i would say is continue to do as much as you can for as long as you can, and don't just tamely give up when they tell you to - Prof used to amaze me by what he could do! |

| Sorry to hear your news.....although whatever we say at a time like this is inadequate. There are plenty of self-help organisations out there for people with MND and their friends and family - it might be worth trying one of them should you or your nearest and dearest need some support. Best wishes for the future Fee |
