Oww hurty sore!!!

A filling that has always given me bother when diving has decided to give me bother when not diving too. I've got toothache

But... I'm going on the YD St Abbs trip at the weekend, last time I went to the dentist the (same) tooth hurt like buggery whenever I dived for a week or two after.

So... do I put up with the the hurty bad sore tooth until the trip is passed or do I get it fixed and risk pain on the dive (which is infinitely more hurty sore)?

You know the answer to this Stu!

Sacrifice a haggis supper, superb diving and great company OR stay at home with a sore tooth

Get yourself to the dentist - I'm just going to see mine now.

Well, it is cheap stuff and it comes almost from the local gardening store, but it works fine and it's very solid. We tried to destroy one by hitting it with a hammer... we succeeded but we really had to hit it hard - http://www.stde.ch/en/faq.php

Oil of cloves stops toothache as a temporary measure (available from Boots or health food shops). Makes your breath smell nice, too!

After that combination you'll be able to pull it out without any pain :-) May smart a bit in the morning though.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'm going to put up with it until next week I think.

Stella? Surely not? A haggis supper must be washed down with some Bellhaven!!!
