Great news! Have to say your last PM when you said it hadn't closed got me a bit worried...but glad to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Thanks to BUPA i'm off to get mine fixed next wednesday, then hopefully back in the water mid-june if the first bubble check goes ok! That will make it about 7 months from bend to "unbendable" - better than 19 months, but atleast if the first bubble check doesn't go to plan i won't panic straightaway!

Enjoy being let loose! Can't wait to join you...

Maybe we should have a YD PFO trip once we're all plugged!

thanks for all the kind words guys,
just booked 2 weeks in the maldives for the beginning of june.Felt like spoiling myself and the other half who has also suffered for the past 19 months with me on suicide watch(hate them slip on shoes).
Just gonna take it nice and easy from now and build it back up slowly.
Helen,if you are reading this,good luck for tomorrow.But you wont need it,the ops a breeeeeeze.Worst bits the dodgy shave....

hmmm - dunno about a breeze - and no-one warned me about the shave until a nurse advanced on me wielding a very scary razor!
