| I don't get this. A diver has 1cm of bloody bubbles at the ends of finger and bubbles on other fingers and the navy doc doesn't want to have a look????? Perhaps the doc thinks he is turning into an aero? |

| Dan, It was best to get it sorted there and then mate, better safe than sorry! P.s. good luck with exams!!

| That sound pretty surprising, cant remember who it was kate perhaps who posted she got a bend after diving in 6m? i dont want to worry unessarily but what other reasons would you get bubbles in your fingers? Thinking that DDRC are open mid-week to deal with NHS stuff etc perhaps you should pop down if the bubbles are still there tomorrow?

| In one of the medical books (Diving and Sub-aquatic medicine I think) there's a photo fo someone with bubbles in the fluid in his eye. I can't remember if this was a sympton of a bend or not

| Thanks Guys. I saw the bubbles on his fingers today, they are quite apparent and u can feel them to the touch. One of the surprising things that i found about the conversation was that they didn't even tell him to ring back if he developed anymore symptoms. I found it surprising too as i recall reading that the doctor asked to take pictures of Kates bend (not wishing to start about her toes again) as he had not witnessed it before. |
