Foot pain from jetfins....

I have noticed of late that after each dive the outer bony bits of my feet hurt. My jet fins are XL but I wonder if they are a tad too small. Getting them off is also a lot harder. Also its got worse since using Xerotherm arctic socks instead of my weezle booties. Anyone had this ??? Should I get bigger fins ???

Question

...I think the foot pockets are somewhat narrow compared to the Mares and Biofin sizes. This might lead to cramp....but pain??

They are a funny shape of footpocket for sure. What are the thickness and bulk differences between the Weezle boots and 4th Element socks?

I have wondered though why they don't think about making the sizing more 'standard' (if that's the word). What I mean is that I fit a Mares regular but take XL Jets, the foot pocket is quite short too. Just seems a bit funny that virtually everyone needs the bigger sizes (there's probably a warehouse with thousands of small fins in it that nobody can fit ).

Ah well, they're worth it in the water.

Silkie saw the sea in a book once
I am on my second pair of jet fins and when I started using them I had the same problem. Pain in feet and cramps in soles of feet.

I solved the problem by getting a bigger pair of fins.
