Firstly Steve, Hope all is well and you recover from the YD Selsey Sunday trip soon, Taurus Diving and all the YD divers on the day , send you best wishes.

Steve only did one dive today on the U 90 with Fiona as his buddy, they both did a good dive with extra time on stops.

The day was hot at sea and Steve was sat on the fore deck after his dive during the trip to the next dive site, nothing as far as we all thought had any reason for concern on the 2 hour trip.

Once on site, the call was givien to start to kit up , when i repeated it to Steve, he just said he was going to dip out of the dive as he felt giddy , but wasn't in any pain and has this problem / feeling before.

While the others were diving , i was monitoring him and his was well, and had a cuppa.

The problem only started after he was after he joke with Dave on the pontoon and was taking his kit to the car. Near his car he lost feelings in his legs and after a dose of O2 and felt no better. he spoke to the chamber bods on a mobile and the advice was to go down the road to Chicester A & E for a examination as he was also a diabetic. This later transpired to being taken to the pot.

No further details as yet on how he is.....

Spoke to Steve this morning at around 5:30am

He was fine..... just come out of the chamber and was going up to the ward for observation

Thats great NEWS for Steve and SELSEY lifeboat ..........

Taurus lost a fiver to JUZ of all people , £ 5 added to the air fill money , cheque will be on it's way soon .
