I'm hoping to be back walking normal in a week but if I have to stay longer on the sofa then the Xbox will not get lonely.

Hi Simon,

I was up and walking about 4-5 hours post-op. Gentle walking about the following day (a tuesday), by wednesday I did a 60 minute walk and felt fine. I was off work for a week post-op and taking it easy, the main thing is no heavy lifting.

Hope that helps - good luck with the op.

Cheers
Al

Time to dive.

Good luck for the rest of this week then, take it easy and let us know how you got on.

Good to know what to expect by reading these threads for when my time rolls around.

Thanks for your help..
I did go through with the op this week.
All seems ok so far and I was surprised how small the hole in the groin is ! like a pinhead ! Fingers crossed that it seals over ok.
