6. Sarah (AKA Pink Bubbler): 8 mm PFO. Identified as poss PFO after an incident in Feb 06. Previous history of Migraine with Aura. Tests carried out May 06 by Dr Wilmshurst, Shrewsbury then fixed by Dr Morrison, Liverpool in Jun 06. BUPA paid for all treatment- back at work in three days. Back to diving with no probs. Migraines all gone too!

Neurolgical DCS in June 2005. Three sessions in the pot at Whipps Cross. Initial suggestion of PFO by Dr. Chris, confirmed by Peter Wilmshurst in March 2006 as 10mm shunting minimally at all times and significantly under duress. Closed by Eric Rosenthal at St. Thomas' in September 2006. Rivet confirmed in place and completely sealed December 2006.

How about a comparative list of those that have had a PFO test and are 98% certain they do not have a PFO?

e.g me..

Had test done with Peter Wilmshurst after an episode of skin bents following 60-70m trimix dives. Bents were put down as resulting from too aggressive profile, so GFs were pulled back and no problems since...

I too had a number of post dive DCS experiences before having a PFO repaired. Once complete I am pleased to report there have been no further incidences and my dive profiles have tested the repair well beyond the level that previously caused problems.
