That's right, it's all the same stuff, just the UK are toeing the American line when it comes to names.
Hi there, can you point me to some links on that because two diving docs have talked about these two compounds as being from totally different groups and working by different mechanisms. Many of the links in this thread state that too, so I would be interested in where your information is coming from as it contradicts everything else we've heard...

I feel like a twit, and so does my (still lovely) wife, who apologises profusely for confusion she has probably now caused!

It is NOT the same stuff, and the formulation has indeed changed due to the problems of misuse of 'modified' Pseudoephedrine.

Her only defense is that it acts in a very similar way.

Really sorry about that.

hi ian somtimes i get probs with my right ear and nazel passage so a few hours before a dive i take an antihistime called zirtex and it cleans up nice. no worries about reverse blockage etc it lasts 24 hours and stops mucus from forming you can buy it accross the counter . I use it every now and again but it wont stop a cold....Rog
