| Dr T correct Even in a pool environment, if you are receiving payment for the training it's falls under the HSE rules and O2 must be available to comply. We trained the lifeguards at the pool we used how to administer in case of an emergency

The HSA guys here are generally more interested in helping companies avoid accidents, and are generally very helpful and approachable. However, if a serious incident occurs, and they investigate and find out you are at fault, they can and will cause you no end of grief. After all, that's what they're there for, to promote and protect H&S while at work.
