Don't know about any that are contra indicated, but some of them are certainly OK.

I take Simvastatin and that's OK for diving (though I had to have a medical to confirm it).

If you search the archive there are some old threads on this, the general vote was no.

I can give you a reasearch link from America if you want (may take some searching).

There was a recent question about this in one of the diving magazines. If I havent used it for bog paper yet I'll dig it out but the answer is statins are ok to dive with.

There is no problem with cholestrol lowering drugs, such as the various statins, and diving. There may be a problem with the reason you are taking it, as people often end up on statins after a heart attack, stroke or other significant problem such as developing diabetes. Then you would need more specific advice. It is always worth running your own case history past one of the doctors from the UKSDMC.
Good luck

I take Atorvastatin and ticked the YES box for drugs when I signed up for my Open Water.

It's a heredatory condition so I'm told and hasn't affected my diving in any way (although the food on offer at many dive sites would make the doc cringe!). But what he doesn't know, won't hurt him Although its probably killing me (but isn't everything we eat).

Mark.
