any 1 now old it is till you can dive again had op on 20 oct this year back at hospital 21 dec none weight on it till then so any help to how long i have to wait many thanks

I hope you are recovering well from your surgery, it must have been a very traumatic time for you.

I dont think that anyone is going to be able to advise you other than your surgeon in conjunction with a physiotherapist.

In order to make the best recovery you will need a lot of physiotherapy, so make sure that you get it and make the best possible use of it - good physiotherapy is not easy but the pain they cause you will all be worthwhile in the long term.

I notice that you have not replied to any of the other threads that you have started, or ever posted on a thread that you have not started, also that you profile is very incomplete and that your website does not work/exist, I hope that you can find time to reply and perhaps update some of your profile so that everyone has a better idea of who they are talking to.

Ask your surgeon when you can start running again. I suspect it will be a similar time for diving.

This will depend on many factors but most important of those will be your age & fitness.

My son's judo instructor is in his late 40s and recently had his hip replaced. He was back in action within 6 weeks but he's an exceptionally fit guy.

His O-Goshi will never be the same though
