Pete,

Only just seen this post after clocking the one directing Dave here.

Apologies for the delay, but I send you my best wishes for a full & speedy recovery.  Thanks for posting the full and frank account - it may well help one of us in the future.

Arguments about Salem Express are in no way enough to stop me wishing that this had never happened to you, and if you are ever in the postition to take that trip in the future, I will be pleased because it means you've got over it!

All the best

Ms. Bell

p.s  I am offended that you refer to me as Matt's girlfriend though - even if I did swing that way you should see his tartan shorts!

Now Lou you know they were for your eyes only!
Well that and the rest of Stoney's car park, except they had the good grace to look away. Go on admit it woman they did make your heart skip a bit. You wouldnt be the first woman who's had to avert her eyes from my legs you know.
Matt

You could at least have had the good grace to put a smiley after a remark like that Matt!!!

Oh and Lou, on the Anglesey trip, I do not want to have to be in competition with you and Caroline for any 'spare' going around - OK!! It's tough enough being a chap in the 1st palce!! ;) Take care.

Peter

I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish you a speedy recovery and hope that, whatever the future brings you, all will be well.

Your report of the incident was a wake up call for many of us.

Best regards.

Kev

Peter
I cant add anything more to what already been said.
Hope this hasn`t affected your drinking arm, in the interest of medical research I will be prepared to help you test this in Lochaline.

Peter rather than blame your dive computer, which almost certainly uses Buhlman algorythms and is more conservative than the tables on a rectangular profile dive.

Have you considered that you may well have a PFO.

Angus,
The dive Doc told me I almost certainly don't have a PFO, as I wouldn't be here if I did. The thought did cross my mind and this is why I asked him. I'll probably go for a full HSE medical before I get back in and I'll ask them at the time if it's worth it.

Glad to see you survived...........

No wonder you got bent, straight line profile's show that you should have done 1st dive with 62mins deco on air and on 2nd dive 29 mins deco on air and based on Buhlmanns table ZHL16B

Good luck for the future but be very wary of dive computers

Pete
