| If the pain moves about then get it checked out. If it's static then it's likely to be muscle. Of couse I'm no doctor so I would ignore that.

| Chris I had something similar a while back, stress induced chest pains, quite common apparently, so you may not have anything to worry about. However I did get mine fully checked out and my advice to you would be to do the same thing. Also I would analyse the stress situation and try and get that under control, the continued stress will not do you any good. Treat the cause not the symptoms, assuming they are ongoing. HTH Matt BUT please do go the docs, any tingling in the left arm at all? |

| Chris, without being over dramatic I suggest you pop over to the Doc and get it checked out. Bound to be something minor but check it out just in case.... Best of Luck.... |
| ||||
| Oh, don't forget to post a kit list before you go |

| Thanks everyone. Going now to clinic, pain is slightly worse but confident it is stress related. Remembering a listening to radio 2 a few weeks ago telling people with chest pains not to hesitate and call a doc. I'm hesitating but your postings convinced me. I hate think I'm being a hypopcondriat, that is why I hesitated. I let you know how it went. My kit is going to my wife & dogs before YD!

| If you think the pain is related to stress then it's possibly not muscular! There are plenty of muscular bits you can hurt in that area but all chest pain needs to be treated as suspicious and investigated urgently. Go to the Dr NOW to allay your worries.
