Saw the Fang Bandit at 3pm today, and the bugger took my tooth out (Charged me £75 for the privilege too. I managed to stop myself asking if the cheque should be made out to D Turpin.)

Some questions:

1. Will I be ok to dive again by next Wednesday?

2. Anything I can do to speed up the healing process other than keeping the gap clean?

3. When I dive again, is it worth taking a bottle of antiseptic mouthwash in my bag to rinse my mouth after each dive?

wait 24 hrs. a trickle of blood is not unusual in this period.

Then rinse with hot salty water, tea or coffee temperature 4 or 5 times a day. If pain,take ibuprofen or paractemol. You can't rush nature it will heal when it wants to. Avoid smoking.

You should be fine to dive.
