Question Runny nose ,clear fluid after dive

Ok this is annoying me . Some times after dives my nose will run ,now I'm not talking about a runny nose like a cold this is a constant run like a tap of clear liquid .It can happen any time from immediately after the dive or a few hours after . This has happened on OC & CCR & does not seem to relate to depth or length of dive .
I know I need to see the quack over it but that will be a fortnight or more away ,so just wondered if anybody else had had this ?
TIA

Are your glasses held together with elastoplast? Was your mum forever after you with a hankie? Do you have a lazy eye?

If your nose runs and your feet smell, you are the wrong way round and you should see your GP ASAP.

I was put up to this by an anonymous person who is sitting here giggling. I actually am very worried about your health and I'm on my way round with my nurse's kit

Haha . . . . yeah . . . . I get that after snorkelling, usually when I'm on holiday abroad.

Go snorkelling during the day, then out for a meal in the evening, and all of a sudden the sinuses will let rip will a 'torrent' of crap from my nose . . .

So, no, your not alone

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Dude, I have that to but only when snorkeling in the past. I've not had it since learning to dive. I think mine was down to snorkeling deep and not knowing about equalization.

I'v had this in the past quite a bit, although it was never that bad.

If you think about it, your nose has just been imersed in sea water/ fresh water for a long period of time. The human nose was never meant for that. I'v always thought that its just water pugrging itself from tyour nose, i can't see it ever doing any harm...

Matt.

It is called 'Scubasnot' and if it is clear, you are very lucky, so don't complain. Lots of people get it gooey and white and smeared all over their face.
