| doesn't mention the name of the device though... Was chatting to Dr Turner a few weeks ago and we were chatting about some of the newer devices and he did mention one that was more bioabsorbable, but still has a nitinol skeleton, wonder if this was the one he was talking about... |

| When I was getting ready to go in for mine to be closed I was offered a choice of two by Dr Turner, the Amplatzer or the Gore Helex (LINK), I looked at both before deciding but went for the Amplatzer as it had a shorter healing time and I had read more about the device being fitted. I must admit this device on the original post sounds good though with only a 30 day heal time. Still about 5 weeks until I find out whether I'm still open or closed. |
