| I was diagnosed with it about 10 years ago - I took six months off and all was fine and have been diving regularly since. The bad news is that my personal research - conducted 10 years ago so I can't recall the details - led me to believe that I had been misdiagnosed. Good luck

| Weightless, I have a family member who has meniers, and has had it now for about 5 years. When she's between episodes pressure changes aren't a problem but when she's in an episode - well, you know what its like. I think its a question that really only you and a diving doc can answer. One thing I have noticed is that as time goes on the gap between episodes gets longer and longer and so it becomes less of a problem. There a lot of info and groups on the internet, so it might be worth you also asking the question there. Goodluck, Craig. |
