I am (at least theoretically!) training for triathlon. So the week should go;

Monday - club running session (this hurts, it is not fun! and is frequently replaced with going for a run by myself!)
Tuesday - Swimming
Wednesday - Run (5 miles ish)
Thursday - Swimming
Friday - Run or day off
Saturday - Club bike ride
Sunday - Long run

However, except when I was properly training for my tri in August it is rare that I manage all of these. I am currently being incredibly lazy and basically just swimming. However I have my first half marathon in October and I really have to get going on it - Lloyd is going to kick my ass!!

Does lifting an approx 0.5 kilo weight from waist height to head height repeatedly most evenings count? If so then yup I do loads ;-) if not then nope, and pretty happy with it.

I am going about 4-5 times at the mo. Probably an hour after work each day and if I am particularly sad sometimes go on saturday or sunday morning. I really must get a life!

Twice a week out on the mountain bike for a couple of hours - The novelty factor is still quite high. I'm going to buy a OS map of the national forest at the weekend and plan some XC routes next.

3 weeks in, I don't feel I've lost much weight, but the fitness level has improved tremendously.

I've always gone to gym classes at least 3 times a week, circuits and aerobics etc., until we started to do building work on our house in April, so I keep fit with all the work and don't have time for exercise. But I'm on the beach everyday with our 2 cross collies and they keep you fit.

Once the works done, it'll be back to the gym.
Too much gym in my opinion is not good for you, I have a mate who goes every day and although he's my age, you'd think he was in his 60's, always got something wrong with him.

I didn't know you'd entered that! I didn't beat you by much in the last race so arse kicking won't come into it I think. Especially at the moment, you've got the character not to drink when training, I'm in front of the telly nights after training with a beer watching the rugby! (Of course I balance this out by having a smaller dinner ).
