| Same as many others I walk the dog about 9 miles per evening, but since I changed from a Manual Shop floor based job to an office and desk job 18 months ago ive had to buy trousers with a bit of extra cleaance, more workout is needed I think! |

| Take my mountain bike out for a longish trip (about 2 hours) on the Pipeline Track on Mt Wellington each w/e. Should do more though, a lot more. Can't run much anymore as I buggered my ankles & knees in Army Reserve here carrying 30Kg pack + webbing + rifle/mg + approx 10 kg mortar tube/bipod/C2 sight & baseplate up and down big yarmas. I should have joined the Arty again. Got out of ARES in 1999, which also coincided with completion of my house building project and a move back to suburbia, with McD, KFC, Hungry Jacks just down the road. And turned 40 shortly after, so I'm not looking too good but fortunately most of the things I want to work still do. Not too worried about the ankles as I own a car as long as the oil holds out and the yanks/Israelis don't nuke the Iranians, I should just about manage.
