| Interesting but it was about headaches rather than diving. It's reassuring and worrying in equal amounts that 1 in 4 of us has one and doesn't know it!!!!! ( a PFO , not a headache )

| There's been quite a bit of research into the links between migraine and PFOs. I did the Diver Medic Course at the London Diving Centre (Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth) last year and the Consultant Cardiologist running the PFO section gave us a figure of about 30% of the population have a PFO but most of those wouldn't be big enough to allow bubbles to cross. |
