Hi ya, well im not quite sure what is meant with safe for diving?? I have one, never had any problems myself. Once wound has healed then it is safe as it water infection problem.

These devices are only aimed at prevention of pregnancy and don't offer protection against STIs....

I dont think our waters are warm enough to go without protective clothing so very little chance of getting pregnant while diving I suspect.
