I cannot see how a harness is going to of any advantage apart from when you are in a vertical position. I'll try distributing some weight to tank band and off my waist, recently changed to membrane suit. Used 14 in my old semi-dry, even when snorkling so I don't think I'm using too much.Thanks for help

An experienced buddy of mine recently did a bouyancy course and now dives 3 kilo's lighter !!!

I have a dodgy back (racing motorcycles, broken, twice). I stick 4kg on the cylinder(s). Either strapped onto a single or as V weights on a twin. The wing supports the weight in the water (except at the end of the dive). Ditchable weight in pockets on the harness waist strap. Works for me.
