I've got a cold and it's pissing me off. I'm grumpy and grouchy, snotty and sneezy with the odd cough thrown in.

I'm not looking for remedies just sympathy.

The sea is flat calm, there is no wind, the sun is shining and I'm stuck in bed in the Red Sea.

Cheer me up pleeeese

Would it cheer you up to know that I have the above minus a bed in the Red Sea and instead a computer chair in my office at work with a hefty pile of work to get through?

I'm not looking for sympathy, just a solution which lasts long enough that I can get a dive in at the weekend.

you nearly got some but this last phrase just blew it!
Just potter out to the patio and look at the sea.

I now have no holidays to come in my diary and no money cos I spent it all on Galapagos. That's why I need sympathy instead. Simon is on permanent holiday and I am a wage slave.

Worse still I dont even know where to go next and start saving up for....
